Red shirt: This changes everything. The company will not send anyone to US going forward. You wear that VR headset and work with your US colleagues.
Blue shirt: Are you kidding magaa? So no option to earn in dollars any more?
Red shirt:No da, not a chance. This way there is no tension of H1B and the other costs for the company. Earlier we could resist because video calls could only do so much. But this is too much.
Blue shirt:Apparently even client meetings would happen via VR soon. Some tool is being developed internally.
Red shirt:Wait are you talking about VR or AR?
….
Blue shirt: Who cares? I’m ranting here about my US plan being killed and you want to talk tech?
Red shirt: What about plan B? Start-up?
Blue shirt: No da, getting married in 6 months. Can’t take such a big risk now.
Red shirt: Some things never change huh?
